North State Announces Changes To Board Of Directors

North State, a leading fiber optic network, data center, cloud services and IT solutions provider announced today changes to its Board of Directors.

David Harman has retired as a member of North State’s Board of Directors after nearly 17 years of service to the company. Mr. Harman, a great grandson of North State founder Jesse Hayden, joined the board in 1998.

The board has elected Winston-Salem, NC-based commercial real estate broker and businessman Jesse Jarrell to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Harman’s retirement. Mr. Jarrell has owned and managed several successful businesses including Brown Bear Properties and Cape Fear River Wood, and served as a financial analyst at Hanesbrands Inc. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University. Mr. Jarrell is also a great grandson of North State founder Jesse Hayden.

“David has served the shareholders of North State well during his long tenure on our board,” said Pat Harman, Chairman of the Board of Directors “He played a critical part of the transformation of the company from a regional telephone provider to a broad based technology company and he will surely be missed. As North State continues to evolve we welcome Jesse Jarrell to our board.”
