Expanded Local Calling
  With North State expanded local calling, you don't have to dial 1 for
  long distance to call most of the 336 area code. Reduced rates for
  other cities in the Triad area are based upon time and distance.

  Phone Savings: Call between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. weekdays, or any
  time Saturdays or Sundays and pay half of normal Expanded Local
  Calling rates. Also, call for half price on Christmas, New Year's Day,
  Thanksgiving, July 4th and Labor Day.

  Local Plus
  If you frequently call outside your local calling area within the 336
  area code, you should try our money-saving Local Plus service.
  Local Plus provides unlimited free calls to an area called the
  Greensboro LATA, which almost duplicates the 336 area code
  with few additions and exclusions.

  To make Local Plus calls, simply dial the 7-digit local number
  or 1 + area code + 7-digit number to the Local Plus Additions
  listed above.
